AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE 2ND ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM ON THE TECHNOLOGY OF PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITION.
The Philippine Government Dietitians and Nutritionists, Inc. and the National Nutrition Program Office, Department of Health, will jointly sponsor the 2nd Annual Symposium on “The Technology of Public Health Nutrition” from June 5 to 30, 1972, at the Department of Health, San Lazaro Compound, Manila.
Government dietitians and nutritionists who are members of the Philippine Government Dietitians and Nutritionists, Inc. are hereby authorized to attend the symposium on official time with per diems and transportations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. Agencies involved in nutrition work such as, among others, institutional feeding and dietary management are authorized to send not more than three (3) participants each to the symposium, also on official time and with per diems and transportation expenses. Likewise, the attendance of speakers during the symposium is authorized on official time with per diems and transportation expenses. It is understood that participants and speakers who are stationed within the Greater Manila Area shall be entitled to reasonable transportation expenses only.
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the symposium within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1
