MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 567, April 14, 1972 ] AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE CoNFERENCE-WORKSHOP OF THE NATIONAL LIBRARY AND THE PUBLIC LIBRARIES ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES. The National Library and the Public Libraries Association of the Philippines will jointly hold a conference-workshop in Baguio City on April 24-29, 1972, on the theme: “The Librarian’s Active Role in His Professional Growth.” All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, as well as city, provincial and municipal governments, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than two (2) librarians and/or; library employees to the conference on official time with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, and conference fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. It is understood that the participants stationed in Baguio City shall be entitled to reasonable transportation expenses and conference fees only. The participants shall submit to their agency heads a report on their attendance in the conference-workshop within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1 By authority of the President: (SGD.)
