CREATING AN ACTION CoMMITTEE FOR THE AGRARIAN DEVELOPMENT OF THE ESTATE, TIGAON, CAMARINES SUR.

In order to maximize socio-economic development in the DBP Moll Estate in Tigaon and Sangay, Camarines Sur, acquired by the Land Bank for distribution to farmer-tenants under the agrarian reform program of the Government, and to evolve a land reform and human resources development program through  the organization of the farmers into a cooperative settlement system, preparing them for their final status as landowners trained in agricultural skills maximizing returns to labor and other production inputs, there is hereby created an Action Committee for the Tigaon Development Project, composed of the following:

1. Mr. Salvador Pejo Director Department of Agrarian Reform Regional Office for Bicol	– Chairman
2. Mr. Jaime D. Rañeses Project Administrator National Manpower & Youth Council Cooperative Settlement Center Pili, Camarines Sur.	– Co-Chairman
3. Col. SeveroSalcedo Armed Forces of the Philippines Engineering Corp.	– Member
4. Mr. CrisantoGuimbaya National Irrigation Administration Regional Administrator for Bicol	– Member
5. Mr. Mariano Jimenez Asst. Director Department of Rural Bank Central Bank of the Philippines	– Member
6. Mr. Bartolome Javier Development Bank of the Philippines Branch Manager Naga City	– Member

The above-mentioned committee shall have the following functions:

1. To recommend to the National Committee for Tigaon Development a comprehensive and development strategy for the Tigaon Moll Estate, specifying the following:

a. The nature of the participating of the various cooperating government agencies;

b. The requirements in equipment, personnel, supplies and materials, and financing;

c. A timetable of operation.

2. To implement approved plans and programs through a Secretariat organized for the purpose.1âшphi1

The NMYC Cooperative Settlement Center (COSEC), in Pili, Camarines Sur shall serve as the Secretariat for the Action Committee. The Department of Agrarian Reform regional office in Naga City shall complement the COSEC project staff with additional personnel and facilities as the need arises.

The Secretariat shall be responsible to the Action Committee for the detailed implementation of the plans and objectives designed for the project.
