URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 6TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WORLD WAR VETERANS LEAGUE, INC.
The Government Employees World War Veterans League, Inc. (GEWWVL), with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, will held its 6th Annual General Assembly on April 13-15, 1972 in the Development Bank of the Philippines, on the theme: “THE VETERANS’ ROLE TODAY.”
At this assembly will be discussed measures by which the veterans in the government service can effectively help in the drive of the Administration against criminality.
All heads of local government agencies including government-owned or controlled corporations, which have veterans chapters, are hereby authorized to send not more than five (5) delegates from each chapter to this assembly, excluding those who are in charge of the affair. Their attendance shall be on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees, chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
Delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance and participation in the assembly.1âшphi1
