ENJOINING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINAR TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE COMMUNITY CHESTS AND COUNCILS OF THE PHILIPPINES.

The Community Chests and Councils of the Philippines, now in its third year of forming Chest and Council organizations in the provinces, will conduct a seminar on community involvement in Community Chest and Council organization to be held on March 24-27, 1972, at the National Federation of Women’s Clubs Social Hall 2nd floor, National Federation of Women’s Clubs Building, 1056 J. Llanes Escoda Street, corner San Marcelino Street, Ermita, Manila.

In view of the significance of the seminar or a faster and more vigorous organization of Community Chests and Councils in the provinces and to promote greater community involvement therein, all the respective provincial heads of the Bureau of Public Schools, Bureau of Medical Services, Bureau of Health, Bureau of Field Services of the Department of Social Welfare, Bureau of Lands, Philippine Constabulary, National Electrification Administration, Presidential Arm on Community Development, Bureau of Posts, Bureau of Telecommunications, Bureau of Public Highways, Bureau of Public Works, Bureau of Treasury and Development Bank of the Philippines, in the provinces of Negros Oriental, Iloilo, Pampanga, Albay, Camarines Sur, South Cotabato, Zambales, Ilocos Norte, Quezon, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Batangas, Eastern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Agusan del Norte, Cotabato, Lanao del Sur, and Isabela, are hereby enjoined to attend the said seminar on official time.1âшphi1 The participants shall be allowed reasonable expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees, chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and audition requirements.

The participants shall submit a report of their attendance to their respective agency heads.
