URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE PUBLIC LECTURE SERIES 1972 SPONSORED BY THE PHILIPPINE SOCIOLOGICAL SOCIETY, INC.

The Philippine Sociological Society, Inc., is sponsoring a series of public lectures on the theme “Social Issues 1972” from February 3 through March 23, 1972, on Thursdays at 5:30-7:30 pm at the San Miguel Auditorium, San Miguel Bldg. Makati, Rizal.

Since the topics aim to place the Philippines on a new perspective and this are of general interest, all heads of department and bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby urged to allow the attendance therein of not more than 2 representatives each, provided that they may, at their discretion, select the lecture(s) which have relevance to the functions of their offices.

The reimbursement to the participants of their lecture fees and actual transportation expenses is hereby authorized, chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual audit.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance within 30 days after the lectures.1âшphi1

For information and guidance, the fee is ?5.00 per lecture and ?30.00 for the whole series. Tickts can be secured at the Erehwen Bookshop in Makati or Solidaridad Bookshop in Padre Faura, Ermita. Reservation may also be made at Tel. Nos. 99-87-21 and 98-25-41.
