GRANTING HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS AND CHIEFS OF BUREAUS AND OFFICES IN THE GREATER MANILA AREA THE DISCRETION TO EXCUSE THEIR RESPECTIVE PERSONNEL FROM OFFICE BEGINNING 1:00 P.M., DECEMBER 24, 1971.

In order to afford government personnel holding office within Manila and the suburbs ample time to join their respective families for the traditional Christmas eve celebration and evade the usual traffic jams after the regular office hours, heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices in the Greater Manila Area are hereby given the discretion to excuse their personnel from office this afternoon only, beginning 1:00 p.m., provided that a skeleton force shall remain in the office to attend to official business transactions.1âшphi1
