AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE CONFERENCE OF THE SOCIETY OF FILIPINO SCHOLARS TO THE UNITED KINGDOM.

The Society of Filipino Scholars to the United Kingdom (SOFISUK) will hold a 2-day conference at the Savoy-Hyatt Hotel, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, on December 9-10, 1971, on the theme: “NATIONAL DISCIPLINE: KEY TO A NATION’S PROGRESS.”

The conference aims to discover and define the various means of developing national discipline in combating the ills of society which obstruct our task towards nation building.

All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send their officials and employees who are members of the Society to the convention on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging and convention fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and audition requirements. Those participants stationed within the Greater Manila Area shall be entitled to reasonable transportation expenses and convention fees only.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their attendance in the convention within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1
