AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE 41ST ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS

The Philippine Association of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (PAMEE) will hold its 41st Annual National Convention in Manila on October 23-24, 1971, on the theme “PROSPECTIVES.”

The convention will discuss the engineer’s role and purposeful involvement in the common task of nation building, aside from exploring ways and means of attaining a higher degree of professionalism in mechanical sad electrical engineering practice and application.

All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send one (1) of their mechanical or electrical engineers to the said convention on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, and convention fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. Those delegates stationed within the Greater Manila Area shall be entitled to reasonable transportation expenses and convention foes only.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their attendance in the convention within thirty(30) days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1
