URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINAR FOR THE CHAIRMEN AND MEMBERS OF THE SPECIAL ACTION COMMITTEE OF GOVERNMENT OFFICES WITHIN THE MINDANAO AND SULU REGION.

The Malacanang Special Action Unit, now under the Complaints and Investigation Office (CIO formerly PARGO) will conduct a seminar for Action Officers of the various government offices in the Mindanao and Sulu Region in the P.T.A. Building of the Division of City Schools, Cagayan de Oro City, on September 9-10, 1971. The Seminar has the following objectives:

1. To acquaint the participants with the goals and objectives of the Special Action Unit;

2. To familiarize the participants with the policies and operating procedures of the Special Action Unit;

3. To define the role and responsibilities of the members of the Action Committee and the Action Officers; and

4. To effect better coordination among the Action Officers in all the offices under the Executive Branch.

Considering the importance of the seminar, all Heads of Departments, Chiefs of Bureaus and Offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations within the Mindanao and Sulu Region are hereby authorized to send to the Seminar the Chairman and members of their Special Action Committee on official time. They shall be entitled to expenses for transportation and per diems, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their agency heads a report on their attendance in the seminar within 30 days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1
