[ Memorandum Circular No. 484, July 20, 1971 ]
ENJOINING ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES & AGENCIES TO PURCHASE THEIR SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT FROM THE COTTAGE INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT ENTERPRISE (CIDE) & THE NATIONAL COTTAGE INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (NACIDA) REGISTERED PRODUCERS.
In order to assist the CIDE in its participation in the Program for Rural Employment and thereby promote the development of cottage industries, all departments, bureaus, or offices including local subdivision and government-owned or controlled corporations are hereby enjoined to purchase from the CIDE’s production units, including NACIDA registered producers, all their supplies and equipments which the CIDE can produce.
To effect implementation of this Circular, all the above-mentioned government offices and agencies are hereby required to submit to the CIDE, through the Director of the Bureau of Supply Coordination, a list of their immediate and future supply and equipment requirements within ten (10) days after receipt of this Circular.
It is understood that should, the CIDE’s authorized representatives certify that the supplies and equipments cannot be produced by the CIDE’s production units and/procurement operations shall be observed.1âшphi1
This Memorandum Circular supersedes Memorandum Circular No. 356.
