GRANTING HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS AND CHIEFS OF BUREAUS AND OFFICES IN THE GREATER MANILA AREA THE DISCRETION TO EXCUSE THEIR PERSONNEL FROM OFFICE BEGINNING 4:00 P.M., MAY 26, 1971

In view of an impending typhoon, heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, in the Greater Manila Area, except those engaged in relief and rescue operations, transportation and communication, are hereby given the discretion to excuse their personnel from office this afternoon only, beginning 4:00 p.m., provided that a skeleton force shall remain in office to attend official business transactions.
