MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 475, June 7, 1971 ] AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEVENTH NATIONAL ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE GOVERNMENT SUPPLY OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (GSOAPI). The Government Supply Officers’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GSOAPI) with the technical assistance of the Department of General Services, the Civil Service Commission and the Bureau of Supply Coordination, will hold its 7th National Annual Conference in Manila or suburbs on August 25-27, 1971, on the theme “SUPPLY OFFICERS’ COMMITMENT FOR OPTIMUM UTILIZATION OF GOVERNMENT RESOURCES.” National and local offices including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send to the conference not more than two (2) of their supply officers or property custodians, preferably those who are members of the GSOAPI. The delegates coming from the Greater Manila area shall be entitled to reimbursement of conference fees and transportation expenses only. Those coming from the provinces shall be entitled to expenses for transportation, lodging and subsistence, and conference fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. The delegates shall submit to their agency heads a report on their attendance in the conference within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1 By authority of the President: (SGD.)
