URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE FOURTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PARTICIPANTS (PATAP).

The Philippine Association of Technical Assistance Participants (formerly Philippine FAC Fellows Association), with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, National Economic Council and the U.S. Agency for International Development, Manila. Will hold its Fourth National Conference at the Social Security System Social Hall, Quezon City, on August 25-27, 1971, on the theme: “Filipino Values: New Dimensions.”

The conference aims to explore and discuss all avenues through which recipients of training grants under the NEC/AID technical assistance progress can effectively contribute in the implementation of the government’s development programs.

National and local offices including government-owned or controlled corporations are hereby authorized to send their officials and employees who have undergone training abroad under the NEC/AID technical assistance program as well as recipients of other overseas training grants who are members of the PATAP to attend this conference. Those coming from the greater Manila area and the site of the conference shall be entitled to conference and reasonable transportation expenses only. Those coming from the provinces outside of the area mentioned above shall be entitled to expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees chargeable against the appropriations pf their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

Delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance and participation in the conference.1âшphi1
