AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE RURAL BROADCASTERS’ COUNCIL
The Rural Broadcasters’ Council will hold its First National Convention on June 24-27, in Manila on the theme “Brodkast Pangkabukiran sa Kaunlarang Pangkabuhayan.”
The Main feature of the Convention will be discussions on the role of rural broadcasting in the dissemination of information on the programs on electrification, family planning, the Green Revolution, community development, the latest scientific agricultural techniques, and related subjects.
In view of the importance of the above, all heads of departments, bureaus and offices in the national level, including government-owned or controlled corporations are hereby authorized to send to the Convention members of the Council and two of their information writers, editors, or staff members. The delegates coming from greater Manila area shall be entitled to reimbursement of convention fees, if there any be, as well as reasonable transportation expenses. Those coming from the provinces shall be entitled to transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
The delegates shall submit to their agency heads a report on their attendance within 30 days after the convention.1âшphi1
