AUTHORIZING CERTAIN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES TO ATTEND THE INSTITUTE OF SCIENTIFIC STUDIES TO BE COUNTED BY THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR THE PREVENTION OF ALCOHOLISM
The Philippine National Committee for the Prevention of Alcoholism will conduct an Institute of Scientific Studies at the U.P. College of Medicine, Herran Street, on May 10-21, 1971, where a discussion on alcoholism, cigarette smoking, LSD, marijuana, and other drugs will be conducted.
Attendance in the Institute will entitle participants to a credit of one (1) unit that can be applied in their graduate or undergraduate courses.
In view of the timeliness and relevance of the matters to be discussed in the Institute to the crime prevention and law enforcement program of the government, the Department of Education, the Department of Health, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the National Bureau of Investigation and the Police Departments in the Greater Manila Area, are hereby authorized to allow not more than two of their employees who are concerned with the subject matters to be discussed to attend the Institute on official.
The participants shall submit to their agency heads a report of their attendance in the Institute with their observations, comments and recommendations.1âшphi1
