URGING ATTENDANCE IN A SEMINAR FOR THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBER OF THE SPECIAL ACTION COMMITTEES OF ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES UNDER THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH.
The Malacaņang Special Action Unit, now under the Complaint and Investigation Office (CIO formerly PARGO) will conduct a seminar for Action Officers of the various offices under the Executive Branch. The Seminar will be held in the Magsaysay Hall of the Social Security System Building Quezon City on May 27, 1971.
The Objectives of the Seminar are:
1. To acquaint the participants with the Objectives of the Special Action Unit.
2. To familiarize the participants with the policies and operating procedures of the Special Action Unit.
3. To define the role and responsibilities of the members of the Action Committee and the Action Officers.
4. To effect better coordination among the Action Officers in all the offices under the Executive Branch.
Considering the importance of the seminar, all heads of departments, Chiefs of Bureau and Office including government owned and/or controlled corporations within the greater Manila Area are hereby authorized to send to the seminar the Chairman and members of their Special Action Committee on official time. They shall be entitled to expenses for transportation and per diems, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
The delegates shall submit to their agency head a report on their attendance in the seminar within 30 days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1
