URGING ALL OFFICES CONCERNED TO EXTEND FULL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE EASTERN REGIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (EROPA) AND CONFERENCE ON “THE ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS OF RAPID POPULATION GROWTH IN ASIA.”

The sixth general assembly of the EROPA will be held in Manila on May 8-14, 1971, on the theme “The Administrative Implications of Rapid Population Growth in Asia.” Expected to attend are 120 senior officials from 15 Asian countries. The Civil Service Commission will provide technical and secretariat assistance during the assembly and conference.

This international gathering, with its special interest on the population problem, is timely and important particularly in countries, including the Philippines, where rapid population growth critically affects social and economic development.

In view thereof, all heads of departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby requested to extend full support and all possible assistance towards the success of the assembly and conference.1âшphi1
