URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 8TH NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE FEDERATION OF FARMERS’ ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC.

The Federation of Farmers’ Associations of the Philippines, Inc. will hold its 8th National Convention on April 22-24, 1971, in Cebu City.

The convention aims, among other things, at providing a forum for the problems of the farmers and their proposed solutions.

All heads of department, bureaus and offices in the national and local levels are hereby authorized to send to the Convention not more than two (2) of their officials and employees who are members of the Federation, aside from those who are in charge of the affair, provided that no government funds shall be involved in connection therewith except reimbursement of convention fees and reasonable transportation expenses only, chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance within 30 days after the convention.1âшphi1
