URGING ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES IN THE 11TH NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE AND CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT UNION LEAGUE.
The Philippine Co-operative Credit Union League (PHILCUL) will hold its 11th national educational conference and convention in Baguio City on May 17-23, 1971 to consider the various problems of our countrymen and see how the credit union movement can contribute towards their solutions.
In view of the importance of the credit union and cooperative movement to the improvement of the national economy, heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, as well as government-owned or controlled corporations and local subdivisions, are hereby urged to allow their employees who are officers or members of credit unions to attend the convention on official time. They shall be entitled to conference fees and transportations expenses only chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds, the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
