URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE TWELFTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION.

The Personnel Officers Association of the Philippines (POAP), with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, will hold its Twelfth National Conference on Public Personnel Administration on June 23-25, 1971 in Manila or Quezon City on the theme: Constitutional Guarantee on Merit and Careerism in the Public Service.”

In view of the importance and timeliness of this year’s conference theme of the POAP, all heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations within the greater Manila area are hereby authorized to send not more than two of their employees who are members of the Personnel Officers Association of the Philippines to the conference. They shall be entitled to expenses for reasonable transportation and conference fees only chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance and participation in the conference.1âшphi1
