URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION, INC.
The Philippine Public Health Association, Inc., will hold a convention on April 29-30, 1971, in Manila, on the theme “Health and the Constitution.”
The convention will afford members of the association the opportunity to exchange views and experiences on recent trends and advances in their field of endeavor.
In view of the importance thereof, all heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations within the greater Manila area are hereby authorized to send not more than two public health workers under them to the convention fees, if any. The Regional Offices of the Department of Health are likewise authorized to send one public health worker each. They shall be entitled to expenses for transportation, board and lodging and convention fees. All these expenses shall be chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual audit.
The delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the convention within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1
