URGING ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES IN THE “THIRD NATIONAL CONVENTION ON SMALL AND MEDIUM INDUSTRIES.”
The National Council for Small and Medium Industries will sponsor the Third National Convention on Small and Medium Industries on February 11-12, 1971, at the Social Security Building, Quezon City.
In view of the vital role played by small and medium industries in the economic growth of the nation and the urgent need for the promotion, development and increased productivity of small and medium enterprises in the Philippines, all heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, involved in the promotion and development of small and medium industries, are hereby authorized to send not more than two (2) representatives each to the convention on official time, with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and convention fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance and participation in the convention.1âшphi1
