URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 5TH NATIONAL CONVENTION OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WORLD WAR VETERANS LEAGUE, INC.

The Government Employee World War Veterans League Inc. (GEWWVL), with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, will hold its 5th National Convention on April 22-23, 1971, in the Social Hall, Social Security System, Diliman, Quezon City, on the theme: “REFORM THROUGH PEACEFUL ACTIVISM.”

At this convention will be discussed measures by which the veterans in the government services, can effectively help in the drive of the Administration against criminality.

All heads of local government subdivisions and national government agencies including government owned or controlled corporations, which have veterans chapters, are hereby authorized to send on official time not more than five (5) delegates from each chapter to this convention, excluding those who are incharge of the affair, provided that absolutely no government expense will be involved in connection therewith.

Delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance and participation in the convention.1âшphi1
