ENJOINING FULLEST COOPERATION WITH THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF PREPARATIONS FOR THE PAPAL VISIT.

In view of the extensive preparations for the forthcoming visit to the Philippines of His Holiness, Pope Paul VI, Assistant Press Secretary Lorenzo J. Cruz, in his capacity as Chairman of the National Sub-Committee on Press and Publicity is hereby empowered and authorized to draw from the various government departments, bureaus, agencies and/or other instrumentalities such personnel and facilities as may be necessary to make preparations as complete as possible.

The personnel to be drawn for the purpose shall not be entitled to any additional emoluments by reason thereof.1âшphi1 However, those who may be given special assignments as are necessary to ensure success of the preparations shall be authorized overtime pay and reimbursement of actual transportation expenses, where called for, chargeable against funds of their mother offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual audit.

All departments, bureaus and offices of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby enjoined to extend fullest cooperation with the National Committee in charge of the arrangement for the Papal Visit.
