CREATING A COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE DISPOSITION OF THE TALA ESTATE.

There is hereby created a Committee composed of the following to study the feasibility of allocating the Tala Estate in favor of various entities to include the allocation of a site for the development of a low cost housing project:

Director, Bureau of Disease Control

3. Ramon R. Ravanzo Member
General Manager, NPC

4. Jacobo S. de Vera Member
Asst. General Manager, PMHC

5. Estela Sindico Member
Undersecretary of Social Welfare

6. Major Antonio Fernando Member
National Housing Corporation

7. Josefina Segui Member
Presidential Economic Staff

8. Alejandro A. Fidel Member
Vice Mayor, Caloocan City

9. Sergio Herradura Member
Bureau of Lands

The Committee shall study the merits and urgency of the various pending requests for allocating portions of the estate as well as the desireability of developing a portion thereof into a low cost housing project. It shall recommend necessary measures for their possible implementation, either thru legislation or other means, indicating the areas recommended for each of the entitites concerned together with the corresponding justifications therefor.

The Committee may call upon any department, bureau, office, agency, or instrumentality of the government, for such assistance as it may need for the accomplishment of its tasks.

The Committee shall submit its report within two (2) weeks from the date thereof.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
