ALLOWING CERTAIN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES TO GO ON HALF DAY ON APRIL 8, 1970.

The Veterans Federation of the Philippines, in observance of the 29th anniversary of the defense of Bataan, will sponsor a commemorative march of World War II veterans at 2:00 p.m. on April 8, 1970, from the Quirino Grandstand to Fort Santiago where a mass reaffirmation of the marchers’ faith in democratic principles and processes will be held.

All heads of department, bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations and local subdivisions, are hereby authorized to allow the employees under them who are members of the Veterans Federation of the Philippines to be off from office in the afternoon of April 8 to enable them to join the march.1âшphi1
