PROHIBITION AGAINST THE FILING OF VACANT POSITIONS.

In close adherence to the policy on fiscal restraint though the adaptation of economy measures, the President upon recommendation of the Cabinet at its meeting on January 21, 1970, directed that effective immediately, no vacant positions should be filed in the meantime, except those in the Judiciary and the prosecution arm of the Government.

All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, shall see to it that this presidential directive is made known to, and strictly complied with by, the officials and employees under them.1âшphi1
