MALACAÑAN PALACE
MANILA
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES
[ Memorandum Circular No. 318, February 6, 1970 ]
REQUIRING STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH MEMORANDUM CIRCULARS NOS. 26 AND 88, BOTH SERIES OF 1966, WHICH REQUIRE THAT CORRESPONDENCE TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT BE ACCOMPANIED WITH AT LEAST THREE COPIES.
It has been observed that despite Memorandum Circulars Nos. 26 and 88, both series of 1966, which require that correspondence to the Office of the President be made in at least three copies, offices and agencies of the government continue sending correspondence with incomplete and/or without sufficient number of carbon copies, thereby contributing in no small measure to the delay in the release of official papers already acted upon.
All departments heads and chiefs of bureaus and offices, as well as government owned or controlled corporations, are therefore hereby enjoined to observe strictly Memorandum Circular Nos. 26 and 88, both series of 1966.1âшphi1
By authority of the President:
(SGD.) ERNESTO M. MACEDA
Executive Secretary
