AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINAR FOR CHARGED CITY SAFETY ENGINEERS.

A seminar for chartered city safety engineers will be conducted by the Bureau of Standards, Department of Labor on January 12-16, 1970, in Manila.

The seminar is designed to familiarize the participants with standard operating procedures on industrial safety inspection and to inform them on all existing safety standards promulgated by the Department of Labor in order to implement more effectively Commonwealth Act No. 104, as amended, commonly known as the Industrial Safety Law.

In view of the significance of the above, all mayors of chartered cities are hereby authorized to send on official business not more than two safety engineers from each safety office within their respective jurisdictions to this seminar. Their expenses for per diem, transportation, subsistence and lodging shall all be chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit a report on their attendance to their respective agency heads within thirty (30) days after the seminar.1âшphi1
