MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 298, November 6, 1969 ] CREATING A CERTAIN PROVISION OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 138 DATED DECEMBER 15, 1967, WHICH PRESCRIBED THE POLICY REGARDING THE GRANT OF REPRESENTATION ALLOWANCES TO CERTAIN LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. The phrase “other Provincial and City Officials of equal rank” appearing in the enumeration of officials in local governments entitled to representation allowances payable from local funds, as provided in Memorandum Circular No. 138 dated December 15, 1967, is hereby clarified to include within its scope Provincial and City Development Officers of the Presidential Arm on Community Development.
