URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SECOND ASIAN REGIONAL YOUTH WORK CONFERENCE.

The Philippine Youth Welfare Coordinating Council (PYWCC), with the cooperation and assistance of the National Economic Council, Departments of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Education, Health, Labor, and Social Welfare (National), Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, National Science Development Board, Presidential Arm on Community Development, Rational Cottage Industry Development Authority People’s Homesite and Housing Corporation, Philippic Constabulary and other government and non-governmental civic organizations, will host the Second Asian Regional Youth Work Conference to be held at Teachers Camp, City of Baguio, from November 24 to December 3, 1969, on the theme:”YOUTH ACTIVISM: ITS NATURE AND IMPLICATIONS.”

The conference objective is to bring together experienced youth workers in the Asian Region in order that they may share their knowledge and experiences for the benefit of the youth in all the participating countries.

Agencies of the government on the national and local levels, including government-owned or controlled corporations, which are members of the PYWCC, are hereby authorized to send to the conference not more than five (5) delegates each whose duties are in any way connected with the implementation of youth programs. Their attendance shall be on official tine and their expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees in connection therewith, shall be chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

Delegates shall submit to their respective agencies a report on their attendance and participation in the conference.1âшphi1
