MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 295, October 24, 1969 ] URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE OF GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND/OR CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS. The Office of Economic Coordination jointly with the Confederation of the Unions in Government Corporations and Office (CUGCO) will hold a Labor-Management Conference on October 27-29, 1969, at the Ramon Magsaysay Hall, SSS Building, Quezon City, on the theme, “Progress Through Labor-Management Cooperation in Government Corporations.” At this conference will be discussed, among other things, means of establishing effective communication between labor and management for greater efficiency.1âшphi1 All managing heads of government-owned or controlled corporations with labor unions affiliated with the CUGCO are hereby authorized to allow not more than five (5) management representatives and a similar number of representatives of labor in their respective agencies, in addition to those in-charge of the affair, to attend the conference on official business, that is, with expenses for transportation and subsistence chargeable against the appropriations of their respective agencies, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. The delegates shall submit to their agency heads a report on their attendance in the conference within 30 days after termination thereof. By authority of the President: (SGD.) ERNESTO M.
