URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT MECHANICAL ENGINEERS AND SHOP OFFICERS OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC.

The Association of Government Mechanical Engineers and Shop Officers of the Philippines (AGMESOP), Inc. will hold its first national conference on October 22 to October 24, 1969, at the Social Hall, Rizal Provincial Capitol, Pasig, Rizal, on the theme “The Role of Mechanical Engineers and Shop Officers in Nation Building.”

All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including local subdivisions and government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) of their mechanical engineers and shop officers, preferably those who are members of the AGMESOP, to the conference on official business, that is, on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, as well as conference fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit to their agency heads a report on their attendance in the conference within 30 days after the termination thereof.1âшphi1
