URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 7TH BIENNIAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS (PASW).

The Philippine Association of Social Workers (PASW) will hold its 7th Biennial National Conference on September 10-12, 1969, at the NSDB Pavilion, Herran, Manila.

This conference aims to provide a dialogue among the association members and other allied disciplines in the public and private sectors to re-examine the existing conditions in the country affecting social welfare, social welfare goals oriented towards national development programs and welfare problems, and approaches and innovations and in the social work practice.

In view of the significant objective of the conference, all heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, both national and local, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send three (3) of their personnel who are members of the Association, excluding those who are in charge of the affair, to attend the conference on official business, that is, with official time and expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, and conference fee, if any, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a reports on their attendance within thirty (30) days after the conference.1âшphi1
