URGING ATTENDANCE OF GOVERNMENT NURSES IN THE NINTH WORLD QUADRENNIAL CONGRESS OF CATHOLIC NURSES.
The Ninth World Quadrennial Congress of Catholic Nurses will be held in Manila on January 17-23, 1970, under the auspices of the Catholic Nurses Guild. The theme of the Congress is “The Nurse and the Development of People.”
The Congress will seek to portray, among other things, the role, activities and progress made by nurses in culture, service and education.
All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations and local subdivisions, are hereby authorized to allow the attendance in the Congress of nurses under them whose services can be dispensed with, on official business, that is, on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their participation in the Congress.1âшphi1
