URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SIXTH ANNUAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE GOVERNMENT SUPPLY OFFICERS ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (GSOAPI).

The Government Supply Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GSOAPI) will hold its 6th Annual National Conference at the New Civic Center (Quezon City Hall) on August 20-22, 1969, on the theme: “Save Millions Through Improved Procurement Procedures and Proper Utilization of Government Property.”

This conference aims to discuss, among other things, how the theme, when implemented can help in the development of the country’s economy.1âшphi1

All heads of local government subdivisions and national government agencies, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than two of their supply or property officers, preferably members of the GSOAPI, to the conference on official business. Their expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees are all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the conference.
