AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST JOINT ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION, INC., AND THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PRINCIPALS.
The Philippine Association for Vocational Education, Inc. (PAVE), and the Philippine Association for Vocational Principals (PAVEP) will hold their first joint Annual Convention in Manila on June 23-27, 1969 on the theme: “New Directions in Manpower Development.”
This convention aims, among other things, at identifying and studying approaches to the role of said associations in rendering effective support to the manpower development program of the Administration.1âшphi1
Considering the timeliness of the theme, all vocational schools which are members of the PAVE and the PAVEP are hereby authorized to send to the convention not more than two (2) delegates from each chapter of the PAVE and one from each school whose head is a PAVEP member. Their attendance shall be on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, as well as convention fees, if any, all chargeable against their respective school funds, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
The delegates shall render a report to the governing bodies of their schools on their attendance in the convention within 15 days after its termination.
