AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OR CERTAIN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE 10TH CONVENTION OF THE CONFEDERATION OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ORGANIZATIONS, INC.

The Confederation of Government Employees Organizations (COGEO), Inc., will hold its 10th Annual Convention on June 26-27, 1969, in Baguio City, on the theme “RE-EVALUATING THE MERIT SYSTEM FOR A MORE EFFECTIVE PUBLIC SERVICE.”

Government employees organizations affiliated with the COGEO are hereby authorized to send not more than ten (10) delegates each to the convention whose attendance shall be on official business, that is, with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and convention fees chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. National and local offices, including government employees organizations not affiliated with the COGEO, may each send not more than two (2) observers also on official business.

The delegates and observers shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance and participation in the convention.1âшphi1
