MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 257, May 5, 1969 ] ENJOINING ATTENDANCE IN THE FOURTH NATIONAL JAMBOREE OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES. The Boy Scouts of the Philippine will hold its Fourth National Jamboree on May 10-18, 1969 at Palayan City, Nueva Ecija, with the theme: National Self-Sufficiency Through Scouting.” All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and officies, chartered cities, and provincial and municipal governments, as well as government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send to the Jamboree their personnel who are members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines on official business, that is, with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and jamboree fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds, and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
