URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE DISTRICT AND CITY ENGINEERS LEAGUE OF THE PHILIPPINES.
The District and City Engineers League of the Philippines (DACEL) will hold its 15th Annual Convention in Manila on May 5-9, 1969, on the theme “Progress Through Better Highways.”
Among the topics to be discussed during the convention will be the massive road-building and other long-range infrastructure construction programs of the Administration.1âшphi1
All Division, District and City Engineers of the Bureau of Public Highways and the Bureau of Public Works, or their assistants, and three (3) representatives each of the central offices of the Department of Public Works and Communications and the two aforementioned bureaus are hereby authorized to attend the convention on official business, that is, with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, and convention foes, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
