ANNOUNCING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A REGISTER FOR THE RECEIPT OF CONTRIBUTIONS FOR VICTIMS OF THE POLICIES OF APARTHEID AND RACISM.

For the information of all concerned, it is hereby announced that, “in accordance with the recommendation of the Human Rights Commission that the Secretary General ‘ in consultation with Member States, arrange to provide facilities whereby registers for the receipt of contributions from all sources, private or public, for the victims of the polices of apartheid and racism in South Africa may be opened, ‘ ” the United Nations Information Centre in Manila will open such Register on March 21, 1969, International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby enjoined to lend their support towards the attainment of the goals of the establishments of the Register.1βшphi1
