MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 237, February 28, 1969 ] URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SYMPOSIUM AND WORKSHOP ON MODERN POLICE ADMINISTRATION. The Confederation of Chiefs of Police of the Philippines, with the technical assistance of the Police Commission, will sponsor a Symposium and Workshop cri Modem Police Administration for Chiefs of Police on March 24-28, 1969 in Quezon City. In view of the importance of the Symposium and Workshop, and in line with the policy of the Administration to improve the standard of policing in the country, as well as to professionalize the police service, all city and municipal mayors are hereby authorized to allow their chiefs of police to attend the same with official expenses for transportation., subsistence, lodging and workshop fees in connection therewith, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective- offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, raid to the condition that the exigencies of the service will permit attendance, The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their attendance and participation in the Symposium and Workshop.1âшphi1 By authority of the President (SGD.)
