URGING THE ATTENDANCE IN THE 4TH NATIONAL CONVENTION OF GOVERNMENT WORLD WAR VETERANS LEAGUE, INC.

The Government Employees World War Veterans League, Inc. (GEWWVL), with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, will hold its 4th National convention on March 20-21, 1969, in the Provincial Capitol, Pasig, Rizal, on the theme: “A CRUSADE FOR LAW AND ORDER.”

At this convention will be discussed measures by which the veterans in the government service, can effectively help in the drive of the Administration against criminality.

All heads of local government subdivisions and Rational government agencies including government owned or controlled corporations, which have veterans chapter, are hereby authorized to send not more in five (5) delegates from each chapter to this convention, excluding those who are in charge of the affair. Their attendance shall be on official time with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging, and convention fees chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual account-find auditing requirements.

Delegate shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance and participation in the convention.1âшphi1
