URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE CONVENTION-SEMINAR FOR ALL PROVINCIAL SECRETARIES, CITY SECRETARIES, AND SECRETARIES TO THE MAYOR OF CONCERNED CITIES.

The League of Provincial and City Secretaries of the Philippines, Inc. will hold its convention-seminar in Cebu City on March 20-23, 1969, for provincial secretaries, city secretaries, and secretaries to the mayors of chartered cities.

The primary purpose of this conventions-seminar is to provide all its members with an effective forum to acquaint selves with the latest techniques thereby enabling to play more dynamic roles as advisory staff of the executives in the proper management of local government affairs within the context of the current administration’s program which is dedicated to the improvement of the government services along modern trends in public administration including planned discussion of legislations and other vital matters concerning the proper discharge of duties and responsibilities.1âшphi1

In view of the importance of this convention-seminar, all heads of provincial and city governments are hereby urged to send the provincial secretaries, city secretaries, and the secretaries to mayors of chartered cities attend convention-seminar. Their attendance thereto shall be on official time and their expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging, conference fees chargeable against appropriations of their respective offices, subject to availability of funds and usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants in this convention-seminar shall submit a report to their respective agency heads on their attendance and participation therein.
