URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE THIRD NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE FOA FELLOWS ASSOCIATION
The Philippine FOA Fellows Association, with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, the National Economic Council, and the Agency for International Development, Manila, will hold its Third National Conference at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, on May 7 – 9, 1969 on the theme: “Citizens and the Government – Partners for National Progress.”
The conference aims to explore and discuss all avenues through which recipients of training grants under the NEC/AID technical assistance program can effectively contribute implementation of the government’s socio-economic programs.
National and local offices including government-or controlled corporations are hereby authorized to send their officials and employees who have undergone training abroad under the NEC/AID technical assistance program to attend this conference. Their attendance shall be on official tine and their expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees in connection therewith shall be chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to I availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
Delegates shall submit to their respective agency a report on their attendance and participation in the conference.1âшphi1
