AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES IN A WORKSHOP-SEMINAR ON RURAL COMMUNICATION.

The National Media Production Center will sponsor a workshop seminar on Rural Communication with emphasis on Radio, in Cebu City on December 9-14, 1968.

The Objective of the workshop-seminar is to help produce better-trained and consequently better-prepared rural broadcasters and extension workers who could assist in enlightening the rural inhabitants on the modern ways of agriculture and community development.

All heads of local government subdivision and national government agencies in the Visayas, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send (1) participant to the seminar on official time, with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance and participation in the seminar.1âшphi1

The National Media Product Center is also authorized to request private broadcasters to participate in this Workshop-Seminar, provided the expenses of such participants shall be borne personally by them or their respective agencies.
