AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN OFFICIALS IN A SEMINAR TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE PRESIDENTIAL AGENCY ON REFORMS AND GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS (PARGO) FOR SOUTHERN MINDANAO.
The Presidential Agency on Reforms and Government Operations (PARGO) will hold a two-day seminar on October 24-25, 1968 in Davao City for the Provincial Governors, Provincial Fiscals, Provincial Commanders, City Mayors, Municipal Mayors, City Chiefs of Police, Municipal Chiefs of Police and Presidents of Barrio Council Associations of Southern Mindanao, in consonance with its campaign to promote civic consciousness and a sense of social responsibility among the people.1âшphi1
The discussions will dwell on the evils of smuggling, graft and corruption, and on how government workers could be provided with the moral climate necessary for a more responsive and efficient public service.
The attendance of the abovementioned civilian officials and military officers in the seminar is hereby authorized on official business, that is, with reasonable transportation, subsistence and lodging expenses chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual audit.
