URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 21ST ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES’ ASSOCIATION.

The Philippine Government Employees’ Association (PGEA), on the occasion of its 23rd Anniversary which coincides with Government Employees Week, will hold its 21st Annual Convention on December 11-13, 1968, in Manila, on the theme “JUSTICE AND MORALITY IN PUBLIC SERVICE.”

Departments, bureaus and offices, as well as city, provincial and municipal governments, including government-owned or controlled corporations, which have PGEA Chapters, are hereby authorized to send not more than five members from each chapter to the convention. Those who will be allowed to attend shall be on official business, that is, with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and convention fees chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

Delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance and participation in the convention.1âшphi1
