AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE ON CERTAIN OFFICIALS IN A SEMINAR TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE PRESIDENTIAL AGENCY ON REFORMS AND GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS (PARGO).

The Presidential Agency on Reforms and Government Operations (PARGO) will hold a two-day seminar on June 27-28, 1968, at the Magsaysay Hall, SSS Building, Quezon City, for the Governors, Fiscals, City Mayors, Municipal Mayors, Chiefs of Police and the Provincial Commanders from Rizal, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite and Quezon province and the Governors of Palawan, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro and Marinduque, in consonance with its campaign to promote civic consciousness and a sense of social responsibility among the people.

The discussions will dwell on the evils of smuggling, (graft and corruption, and on how government workers could provided with the moral climate necessary for a more responsive and efficient public service.1âшphi1

The attendance of the abovementioned civilian officials and military officer; in the seminar is hereby authorized on official business, that is, with reasonable transportation, subsistence and lodging expenses chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual audit.
